This recording celebrates the brilliance and richness of brass instruments in combination with the vast and varied sonic resources of the pipe organ, as displayed in music by an international array of composers from the 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. This album was recorded in 1993 in the sanctuary of North Shore Congregation Israel located in Glencoe, Illinois. It features the Stone Memorial Casavant Organ, built in 1963.
