Sharon Jones

Sharon Jones is a member of the Elgin Symphony Orchestra and frequently can be seen performing as a pit musician in musical productions at Drury Lane Theater Oak Brook, Broadway in Chicago, the Paramount Theater in Aurora and Chicago Shakespeare Theater at Navy Pier. 


A graduate of the Indiana University and Northwestern University, Sharon has performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Grant Park Symphony, the Chicago Philharmonic, Chicago Opera Theater and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s Music NOW contemporary music program. During the summer of 2013, she joined the “Les Miserables” North American Tour, performing throughout the United States and Canada.

GRACE NOTES

In 2017, Sharon made her TV debut on Empire with the line "On strike. I'm really sorry Lucious."

She clearly deserved an Emmy.
